THM125 Auto Transaxle

1. Position valve assembly with pump pocket side up.

2. Install pump slide into pump pocket.





3. Install pump slide seal support and seal. Retain with petroleum jelly and make sure seal is positioned properly, see image.

4. Align slide with pump slide pivot hole and install pump slide pivot pin.

5. Install vane ring, pump rotor, and all seven vanes into pump pocket Make sure the vane wear pattern is installed against the centering ring. Make sure each vane is seated flush with the rotor. Install the top vane ring.

6. Install the slide O-ring seal in the pump slide, then the slide to cover oil seal ring.

7. Check the pump cover sleeve for damage, then install the pump cover and torque cover screws to specification.

8. Install pump primary spring and cup plug flat side out compress and install roll pin.





9. Position control valve pump body with machined face up and pump pocket on the right side, see image.

10. Install the 3-2 control valve and spring, then install spring retaining sleeve from machined surface. Make sure sleeve is level with or below surface.

11. Install 1-2 shift valve stem end last. Install 1-2 T.V. spring into bushing, next install 1-2 valve and bushing assembly into 1-2 bore making sure pin slot is aligned with pin hole in valve pump body. Install roll pin.

12. Install 2-3 shift valve with stem end last. Install 2-3 T.V. spring into 2-3 bushing. Next install the 2-3 T.V. valve, with stem end first, into the 2-3 bushing. Install assembly making sure pin slot is aligned with pin hole in the control valve pump body. Install roll pin.

13. Install 1-2 accumulator spring. Next install 1-2 accumulator valve, with small end first into accumulator bushing. Next, install bore plug, flat side first. Install 1-2 accumulator valve and bushing assembly into control valve pump body, aligning pin slot with the pin hole of control pump body. Push bore plug in and install roll pin.

14. Install pressure relief ball, spring and spring retaining sleeve.

15. Instal shift T.V. valve, small end first Install the shift T.V. valve spring and bore plug, flat side first. Push in bore plug and install roll pin.

16. Install pressure regulator, with valve stem end first. Next install regulator valve spring. Install reverse boost valve into reverse boost valve bushing, with stem end first into large opening. Install reverse bushing and valve with large end of valve first into the T.V. boost bushing. Install the T.V. boost bushing and valve assembly open end first. Align pin slot of bushing with hole of body and install pin.

17. Install throttle valve, stem end last. Next install throttle valve spring. Install T.V. plunger into bushing, with small end first. Install T.V. bushing and plunger assembly, large open end first. Align pin slot of bushing with hole of body and install pin. Install a roll pin in throttle valve pin hole.

18. Install line boost valve, with stem end first into bore. Install line boost bore plug with ring end first. Install roll pin. Make sure that line boost valve moves freely.

19. Install lo blow off ball in lower right hand corner, rough casting side of valve body. Next, assemble the lo blow off spring and spring plug. Install spring and plug assembly, with plug end first. Next, install the lo blow off plug, cupped end first, using a soft faced hammer until seated in bore.
