TORONADO
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove headlamp switch knob, radio knobs and steering column trim cover.
3. Remove four screws from underside of lefthand trim cover, Fig. 2.
4. Remove lefthand sound absorber, then carefully pull lefthand trim cover from instrument panel. It may be necessary to disconnect shift indicator cable clip and lower steering column slightly to remove lefthand trim cover.
5. Remove two screws attaching switch to instrument cluster carrier, then pull switch rearward to remove.
6. To disconnect wire connector, remove two connector attaching screws, then pry connector at locations shown in Fig. 2.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
