VALVE BODY SPRINGS




Most books or manuals do not show a spring between 1-2 throttle valve valve and the low first detent valve (A, in figure).

If your valve body has a spring at that location, re-install it during assembly. Not all valve bodies have that spring! If yours does not, don't improvise.

The line bias valve spring (B, in figure) is shown in the wrong place in many books.

The spring actually goes in the location indicated by "X", as shown.
