Checking Reaction Unit Endplay
1. Check reaction unit endplay as described under "Transmission Disassembly, Internal Gear Components."
2. Inspect output shaft to input shaft selective thrust washer for damage or scoring.
3. Install output shaft to input shaft selective thrust washer, locating it in output shaft and retain with petroleum jelly, see image.
