Reaction Selective Thrust Washer

Inspection & Installation





1. Inspect reaction selective washer for scoring or damage and install with identification number toward case cover, see image.

2. Inspect output shaft to reaction selective washer snap ring for damage or distortion.





3. Install snap ring on output shaft, see image above step 1. It may be necessary to move output shaft outward by tightening adjusting screw on tool J-26958, see image, to install output shaft to reaction selective washer snap ring. Make sure ring is fully seated in output shaft groove.
