Installation

1. Position coil assembly on neck of front head, ensuring terminals are aligned properly.
2. Position pulley rotor and bearing assembly on neck of front head and seat clutch using rotor and bearing installer J-26271. Before seating assembly, ensure clutch coil terminals are positioned correctly and 3 protrusions on rear of coil housing align with locator holes in front head.
3. Install pulley rotor and bearing assembly retaining ring and reassemble clutch plate and hub assembly as described in appropriate procedures.
4. Check that clutch plate to rotor air gap is .020-.040.
