1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove turn signal switch and ignition lock as outlined.
3. Remove lower steering column trim covers and bolts securing steering column bracket, then lower column and disconnect electrical connector to wiper switch.
4. Remove steering column housing screws and the housing, Figs. 4 and 5.
5. Remove housing cover screw and the cover.
6. Remove wiper switch pivot and the switch.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
