Bind in Reverse / No Reverse
All the complaints listed above may be caused by a defective center support. The center Support is made up of two pieces, the aluminum housing and the steel sleeve (which is pressed into the center of it). Grooves machined into the steel sleeve provide channels for several oil paths through the support If the steel sleeve rotates, the potential for several problems exists. The most common complaint has been a bind-up in Reverse.
