Reverse Pipe & Parking Bracket

1. Inspect bracket for damage. Actuator rod must be positioned over parking pawl and out of parking range.

2. Install parking lock bracket and dipstick stop, then install retaining screws and torque to specifications.

3. Check parking lock assembly for proper operation.

4. Using a 9.5 mm (3/8 inch) rod, install lo and reverse seal assembly.





5. Install O-ring back-up washer, then install O-ring seal on reverse oil pipe and install reverse oil pipe. Install plain end first, then install O-ring end into lo and reverse seal bore, see image.

6. Install pipe retainer bracket and bolt and torque bolt to specifications.
