The headlamp, hazard flasher, rear defogger and windshield wiper/washer controls are incorporated into switch modules mounted on either side of the instrument cluster.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column collar, if equipped, then the steering column filler plate screws and filler plate or lap duct assembly.
3. Remove instrument cluster trim plate attaching screws, then the trim plate.
4. On Somerset and Skylark models, remove switch bezel retaining screws and the bezels.
5. On all models, remove switch retaining screws, pull switch assembly away from instrument panel, Figs. 1 and 2, and disconnect electrical connectors as needed to complete removal.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
