T.V. Limit Valve
The limit valve feeds line pressure directly from the oil pump and it limits oil pressure applied to the
throttle valve to a maximum 90 psi. When pressure is applied to the limit valve, the pressure opposes limit valves spring tension and pressure is applied to the throttle valve. When pressure at the throttle valve reaches 90 psi, the combination of throttle valve pressure and spring tension closes the limit valve and excess pressure is exhausted through an internal port in the valve. The limit valve cycles constantly to maintain pressure of 90 psi at the throttle valve inlet.
