1-2 Shift at Full Throttle Only

1. Throttle valve cable improperly adjusted, binding, disconnected or broken.

2. Throttle lever and bracket assembly binding or disconnected.

3. Throttle valve exhaust ball lifter or number 5 check ball binding, improperly positioned or disconnected. If number 5 ball is fully seated, it will cause full throttle valve pressure regardless of throttle valve position.

4. Throttle valve and plunger binding.

5. Valve body gaskets leaking, damaged or incorrectly installed.

6. Porous control valve assembly.
