Window Regulator - Front Door

WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT

Regulator Rivet Locations:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Trim panel.
2. Speaker if present.
3. Water deflector (see procedure).
4. Any items attached to door inner panel which are blocking access hole for regulator removal from door.
5. Regulator to door inner panel rivets (1), five required, using a 6.3 mm (1/4") drill bit.
6. Lock actuator to door inner panel rivets (2), two required, using a 6.3 mm (1/4") drill bit (sedan styles).
7. Actuator to outside of door inner panel.
8. Block or tape glass in full-up position to door frame.
9. Wire harness from regulator motor
10. Guide and block assembly on regulator from glass lower sash by rotating regulator rearward 180 degrees.
11. Regulator from door through access hole.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Regulator to door inner panel through access hole.
2. Guide and block assembly to glass lower sash.
3. Wire harness to regulator motor.
4. Door lock actuator to door inner panel using 1/4" peel type rivets.
5. Regulator to door inner panel using 1/4" peel type rivets. Inspect regulator for proper operation.
6. Any items removed in step 4 of removal procedure.
7. Water deflector.
8. Speaker if present.
9. Trim panel.
