High Pressure Cutout Switch

Typical A/C High Pressure Switch:

A/C HIGH PRESSURE CUT OUT SWITCH

The High Pressure A/C switch opens when head pressure inside the compressor gets to high. This disables the A/C compressor clutch before damage can occur to the system. This switch opens when the pressure is greater than about 440 psi.
