Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, if necessary.
3. Remove starter motor mounting bolts, then lower the starter motor, Fig. 4.
4. Disconnect starter leads and remove starter from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
