INFORMATION ON QUARTER PANEL WINDOW OPENING DESIGN CHANGE


MODELS/YEARS:
1992 ACHIEVA COUPE



The quarter panels of the 1992 Achieva coupe were revised after production startup.

The lower area of the quarter window opening at the beltline has been revised. The respective quarter window modules were revised to fit the new quarter surface.

Note:
Old window modules will not fit new quarter panels. However, new window modules will fit both new and old quarter panels.

Repair damaged quarter panels as follows:
1. Damage above mid sail:

A. Vehicle with old panels - Cut and repair using normal procedures. (Order either old or new window module).

B. Vehicle with new panels - Cut and repair using normal procedures. (Order either old or new window module).

2. Damage below mid sail:

A. Vehicle with old panels - Cut and repair using normal procedures. (Must order new window module). On opposite quarter panel, fill in corner using normal repair procedures and finish to match new panel appearance.

B. Vehicle with new panels - Cut and repair using normal procedures. (Must order new window module).
