THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES BULLETIN 92-T-21, DATED 12/1/91.

The above condition could be caused by a rolled or cut input clutch piston outer seal. The initial comment is often a delay in drive cold. The condition will sometimes develop into a no/delay drive or reverse cold and delay hot over a 2000-5000 mile range. If this condition is encountered, it is recommended that the input clutch piston outer seal be replaced.

Note:
An air check of the piston as a diagnostic aid could be misleading . The seal may look good during visual inspection but should be replaced if the above condition was present. The seal may have rolled back into proper position during disassembly.
