Test I: Coolant Temperature Gage Shows Hot at All Times
Disconnect the Coolant Temperature Sender connector. Put Ignition Switch in RUN and observe the Coolant TEMP Gage.
^ If the gage reads COLD, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace the Coolant Temperature Sender.
^ If the gage still reads HOT, check DK GRN (35) wire for a short to ground (see schematic). If OK, service the Instrument Cluster.
