Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check the ELEC Fuse by visual inspection.
2. If the Seat Belts remain taut with either front door open, check for a shorted Door Latch Switch.
3. The Key Cylinder Light should glow when either Door Latch Switch is operated. If only one switch does not trigger the light, check the associated switch and wiring. The Seat Belt Solenoids should click when the switch is operated.
4. If the Seat Belt Solenoids in both doors do click, but the Key Cylinder Light does not light, check the YEL (528) and BLK (152) wires to the light for an open. If wires are OK, replace the Key Cylinder Light.
