Rear Hub and Bearing

REAR HUB/BEARING

The rear hub and bearing assembly is not serviceable. If the hub and/or bearing is damaged, the complete assembly must be replaced.
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Remove brake caliper, leaving hose attached, and suspend out of way.
3. Remove brake rotor.
4. Disconnect anti-lock brake system electrical harness connector, if equipped.
5. Remove hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts, then the assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install, torquing hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts to specifications.
