V-5 Refrigerant Oil Distribution
^ V-5 COMPRESSOR SYSTEM - Requires 240 ml (8 fluid ounces) of 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
^ New oil quantities must be added to the system during component replacement and conditions stated as follows:
1. With no signs of excessive oil leakage, add:
a. Compressor Remove, drain oil, measure, if less than 30 ml (one oz.) - add 60 ml (2 oz.), if more - add same amount of new oil.
b. Evaporator - Add 90 ml (3 fi. oz.).
c. Condenser - Add 30 ml (1 fi. oz.).
d. Accumulator - Add 105 ml (3.5 oz.).
