Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check CLUST Fuse and INDIC Fuse by visual inspection. Check the REAR DEFOG Circuit Breaker.
2. If one or more of the grid lines do not heat, repair broken grid line(s).
3. If the Rear Defogger grid becomes warm, but the ON Indicator does not light, check bulb and PPL/WHT wire from S226 to the Heater and A/C Control Assembly for an open.
4. If Panel Lights do not operate with Light Switch in HEAD or PARK, check wiring to bulb.
5. If the Rear Defogger is ON at all times, check the PPL/WHT (293) wire for a short to battery.
