EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

Top Of Engine:

REMOVE/DISCONNECT
- Negative battery cable.
- Air cleaner, if necessary.
- Electrical connector at solenoid.
- Vacuum hoses.
- Bolts and solenoid.
- Filter, if required.

INSTALL/CONNECT
- Filter, if required.
- Solenoid. Tighten bolts to 24 N-m (17 lb.ft.).
- Vacuum hoses.
- Electrical connector to solenoid.
- Air cleaner, if removed.
- Negative battery cable.
- Check system to ensure proper operation.
