ABS Main Relay: Description and Operation

This relay, located on the rear lefthand side of the engine compartment, allows battery voltage and current to be supplied to EBCM. The EBCM uses this voltage and current to supply power to the motors and solenoids. The relay is a normally open contact type and has special contact material to handle the high currents needed for ABS operation.
