Rear Hub and Bearing

REAR HUB/BEARING

Hub And Bearing Assembly:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Tire and wheel assembly.
3. Brake drum. Do not hammer on brake drum as damage to the bearing could result.
4. Hub and bearing assembly from axle.

NOTE: The bolts which attach the hub and bearing assembly also support the brake assembly. When removing these bolts, support the brake assembly with a wire or other means. Do not let the brake line support the brake assembly.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Hub and bearing assembly to rear axle and tighten bolts to 60 Nm (45 lb ft).

CAUTION: Be careful not to drop hub and bearing assembly, as damage to the bearing could result.

2. Brake drum.
3. Tire and wheel assembly.
4. Lower vehicle.
