POWER ANTENNA WILL NOT EXTEND OR RETRACT

1. Remove the Power Antenna Relay harness connectors. Measure the following voltages at the harness connector according to figure 1.
^ If the voltages are OK, go to step 2.
^ If the voltage from terminal C1/A to ground is not correct, check the ORN (40) wire.
^ If the voltage from terminal C1/A to terminal C1/C is not correct, check the BLK (804) wire.
^ If the voltage from terminal C1/B to ground is not correct, check the PNK (143) wire and the Radio output at terminal 8 of connector C2 (see schematic).
^ (With Cellular Telephone) If the voltage from terminal C1/B to ground is not correct, check the PNK (143) wire for an open or shofl to ground. Check Transceiver output at terminal D2.

2. Connect two fused jumpers to the Power Antenna Relay harness connectors according to figure 2.
^ If the Antenna does not operate, repair/replace the Antenna Motor.
^ If the Antenna operates properly, replace the Power Antenna Relay.
