Test C: Courtesy Lights Relay/Twilight Photocell Test

Test C:

1. Enter Body Computer diagnostics. Select BCM Output Test BO04.

^ If the Courtesy Lights come "ON" when LO is displayed, go to step 3.
^ If the BCM does not cycle between LO and HI, replace the Body Computer Module (BCM).
^ If the Courtesy Lights do not come "ON" when LO is displayed, go to step 2.

2. Remove the Courtesy Lights Relay from position B of Micro Relay Center #2. With BCM Output Test BO04 still cycling, connect a test lamp to the terminals of the Micro Relay Center according to the following table. Note the state of the display and the test lamp as you are performing this test.

Micro Relay Center Test:

^ If all results are correct, replace the Courtesy Lights Relay.
^ If the test lamp does not light from terminal 1 to ground, check the ORN (340) wire for an open.
^ If the test lamp does not light from terminal 1 to terminal 2 when LO is displayed, check the GRY/BLK (690) wire for an open.
^ If the test lamp does not light from terminal 3 to ground, check the DK BLU/WHT (149) wire for an open.
^ If the test lamp does not light from terminal 3 to terminal 5, check the BLK (804) wire for an open to ground.

3. Perform BCM Data Test BD44 according to the following table.

BCM Data Test BD44:

^ If the display values are not correct for conditions given in the table, replace the Twilight Photocell.
^ If the Display values are correct and symptom still exists, check BCM Inputs BIO6 and BIO5. If OK, replace BCM.
