Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Cover the Twilight Photocell with cardboard to block light (Illuminated Entry will not work in bright ambient light).

2. With all doors closed and Ignition "OFF," lift either door handle.

^ The Courtesy Lights light for approximately 20 seconds.

3. With the doors closed. lift either door handle again. While Courtesy Lights are "ON," turn the Ignition Switch to RUN.

^ The Courtesy Lights turn "OFF."

4. Turn the Ignition Switch to "OFF" and open either door.

^ The Courtesy Lights light for approximately 10 minutes if the door remains open.
^ If the door is closed prior to 10 minutes, the Courtesy Lights remain on for approximately 20 seconds.

5. Push the Panel Dimming Switch to INTERIOR.

^ The Courtesy Lights light.

6. Push the Panel Dimming Switch to "OFF."

^ The Courtesy Lights turn "OFF."
