Pump Assembly

Power Steering Pump Mounting:

Remove or Disconnect

1. V.E.S electrical connector (if equipped).
2. Lines.
3. Back off on adjustment stud.
4. Brake Booster Hose.
5. Air Intake Duct.
6. Outer bracket.
7. Drive belt and pump.
8. Bracket to pump.
9. Bracket with pump.
10. Pump from bracket.
11. Transfer pulley, front bracket and reservoir (if necessary).

Install or Connect

1. Pump with pulley, front bracket and reservoir.
2. Bracket with pump to the front of the engine.
3. V.E.S electrical connector (if equipped).
4. Drive belt.
5. Outer bracket.

Adjust
^ Belt tension, adjust.

6. Lines.
7. Fill with fluid and bleed air from power steering system.

Inspect
^ For leaks.
