Slipping or Rough 1-2 Shift

1. Intermediate servo:

a. Seals cut, damaged or leaking.

b. Piston damaged.

c. Servo bore in case damaged.

d. Apply pin too long or too short.

e. Servo orifice bleed cup plug missing.

f. Leak between servo apply pin and case.

2. Binding intermediate servo band apply pin.

3. Incorrect TV link or bent TV link.

4. Control valve assembly:

a. TV plunger binding.

b. Shift TV linkage binding.

c. 1-2 accumulator valve binding.

5. 1-2 accumulator:

a. Binding piston.

b. Broken spring.

c. Piston seal or groove damaged.

d. Bore damaged.

6. Incorrect spacer plate or gasket, or gasket incorrectly installed.

7. Second oil passage leaking.
