Poly-Groove Belt

Tool Required:
J 36018 Belt Tension Gage

Remove or Disconnect

1. Loosen pump bracket adjustment bolts.
2. Loosen belt tensioner adjustment stud.
3. Belt from vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Belt into position.
2. Set belt tension to 450 N (100 lbs.) by turning adjustment stud.

Important
^ If installing a new drive belt, set tension to 900 N (200 lbs.) maximum. Start engine and run for a minimum of 2 minutes, then rese tension to 450 N.m (100 lbs.).

3. Torque pump bracket to specifications.

Tighten
^ Rear bolt to 96 N.m (71 lbs. ft.).
^ Front bolt to 27 N.m (20 lbs. ft.).
