1. Remove ash tray and support, accessory trim plate and glove box assembly, Fig. 7.
2. Remove radio, then the speaker grills and speakers.
3. Remove three lower sound insulation panels.
4. Remove steering column filler.
5. Disconnect and remove hood release cable.
6. Disconnect shift indicator cable from column bowl.
7. Remove steering column support nuts, then lower steering column.
8. Remove rear defogger and light switch trim plate.
9. Disconnect rear defogger and light switch connectors.
10. Remove heater-A/C control.
11. Remove instrument cluster bezel.
12. Remove instrument cluster.
13. Disconnect speedometer cable, VSS connector, courtesy lamps, ECM, cruise control module, horn relay, multi-function alarm and flasher assembly and allow to hang.
14. Remove instrument panel to cowl mounting screws, Fig. 8.
15. Disconnect dash panel support.
16. Disconnect duck work, dash plugs, wire looms and heater cables attached to dash panel.
17. Remove dash panel assembly.
18. Reverse procedure to install.
