This bulletin is being issued to emphasize the importance of following all of the procedures in the Service Manual when replacing bottom feed fuel injectors on LN2 engines to prevent possible engine damage from hydrostatic lock-up.

^ Extra attention must be taken to ensure that all 0-rings are installed properly on bottom feed fuel injectors prior to installation.

^ Bottom feed fuel injectors must be installed carefully to prevent the 0-rings from damage which can cause fuel to enter the engine cylinders.

^ Following the replacement of bottom feed fuel injectors, the Fuel System Diagnosis test should be performed to verify that the bottom feed fuel injectors are not leaking.

^ If the fuel system does not hold pressure, the engine must not be cranked over. Diagnose the loss of fuel pressure before cranking the engine.

Notice:
In order to prevent possible engine damage, these procedures must be followed.
