Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Try the following checks before performing other diagnosis.
1. Check the TURN B/U Fuse by operating the turn signals.
2. Check that the Release Solenoid case ground is clean and tight.
3. Check WDO Circuit Breaker by operating the Power Windows (Wagon only).
4. Check ground G202 by operating the Rear Wiper (Wagon only).
5. On Vehicles with Remote Keyless Entry, if the Luggage Compartment Lid or Tailgate can be released with the switch but cannot be released by the Keyless Entry Remote, see Remote Keyless Entry for System Diagnosis.
