Fig. 4 Stabilizer Shaft Assembly Replacement:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheel and tire assemblies.
2. Remove right and lefthand stabilizer shaft link bolts, then open brackets to remove insulator.
3. Remove right and lefthand strut to knuckle to stabilizer shaft nuts, Fig. 4. Do not remove strut to knuckle bolts.
4. Remove insulator brackets from bolts and from stabilizer shaft, then the stabilizer shaft.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. It may be necessary to pry stabilizer shaft to one side for installation clearance at strut. Use caution when prying.
b. Torquing stabilizer shaft link bolts and strut to knuckle bolts to specifications.
