Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Turn Ignition Switch to RUN: Radio, Heater and A/C Control Assembly, Instrument Panel and Compact Disc Player VF displays should turn on.
2. Turn Park Lights on: Instrument Panel DIC Switch Assembly, Heater and A/C Control Assembly, Head/Park Light Switch, Ashtray, Radio, Compact Disc Player, Fog Light Switch, and PRNDL incandescent lights should come on and above mentioned VF displays dim.
3. Operate Panel/Interior Light Control in both directions through its full range: In one direction incandescent lights and VF displays should become bright; in the other direction they become dim.
