Road Test


1. Drive vehicle at speed greater than 25 mph, place cruise switch in On position and depress set button at end of multi-function lever. Cruise indicator should illuminate and vehicle should maintain speed.
2. With foot off accelerator, hold set button in. Vehicle should coast at a slower speed.
3. Release set button. If new speed is greater than 25 mph, cruise control should engage and hold slower speed.
4. Slide cruise switch to Resume/Accel position and hold it there. Vehicle should accelerate.
5. Release cruise switch back to On position. Vehicle should hold new, faster speed.
6. Tap brake pedal. Vehicle should coast slower and cruise indicator should go out.
7. Slide cruise control switch momentarily to Resume/Accel position. Cruise indicator should illuminate and vehicle should accelerate to former set speed.
8. While cruising, accelerate, then remove foot from accelerator pedal. Vehicle should coast back to set speed.
9. While cruising, tap cruise switch to Resume/Accel position. Vehicle speed should decrease 1 mph for each tap up to ten.
10. While cruising, tap set button. Vehicle speed should decrease 1 mph for each tap down to 25 mph.
11. Slide cruise control switch to Off position. Cruise control should turn off and cruise indicator should go out.
