Troubleshooting Hints - Exterior Lights
1. If the Turn Lights do not work, check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 8.2. If the Stop Lights and Hazard Lights do not work, check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 13.
3. If one of the Turn Indicators goes on when the Park Lights are turned on, check the Front Park/Turn Light on that side.
4. For any of the following symptoms, replace the Turn/Hazard Switch.
^ Some Turn Lights work and all Hazard Lights work.
^ Some Hazard Lights work and all Turn Lights work.
^ Hazard Lights do not turn off.
5. If the Turn Indicator and the Front Park/Turn Light on one side are inoperative, check in-line connector C202 (terminal A) for proper terminal contact. If OK, replace the Turn/Hazard Switch if necessary.
6. If the Turn Lights stay on (do not flash) in both Left Turn and Right Turn, replace the Turn Flasher.
7. If the Hazard Lights stay on (do not flash) in HAZARD, replace the Hazard Flasher.
8. If a Turn Indicator does not light, but the turn signals work, check the bulb, connections, and wiring to the Indicator.
9. If the Park, Side Marker, and Tail Lights do not work, check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 14, ORN (240) and BRN (9) wires and the Head/Park Light Switch for an open.
10. If only one light does not operate, check bulb, socket, and related wiring (see schematic).
11. If Stop Lights do not turn off, adjust or replace the Cruise/Shift Interlock/Brake Switch as necessary.
12. If the High Level Stop Light does not work, check bulb, LT BLU (20), LT BLU/BLK and BLK (152) wires for an open. Repair or replace as necessary. With DIC: IF wires are OK, replace Adaptive Lamp Monitor Module.
13. If none of the rear lights work (except High Level Stop Light), check that ground G402 is clean and tight.
