Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuses 17 and 20 by visual inspection.
2. Check Circuit Breaker 4 by operating power door locks.
3. If one or more of the grid lines does not heat, Test C: Rear Defogger Repair refer to TEST C: REAR DEFOGGER REPAIR for grid line repair procedures.
4. Check Relay Center Fuse 1 and PNK/WHT (676) wire if LH Heated Mirror (if equipped) is not operating.
5. If LH Heated Mirror (if equipped) operates but Rear Defogger does not, check PPL/WHT (293) wire, BLK (152) wire and Rear Defogger grid.
6. Check that the connectors on the Rear Defogger and the Rear Defogger Timer-Relay are tight and properly mated.
