IMPORTANT:
This bulletin supplements the Oldsmobile Product Campaign Bulletin 94-C-10, dated July 1994, to provide additional "PARTS INFORMATION" AND "SERVICE PROCEDURE" information.

The "PARTS INFORMATION" section is being revised to include bolt P/N 11516061 and self-locking nut P/N 11503750, with required quantities "as required".

PARTS INFORMATION (revised)
Each involved retailer will be pre-shipped on July 21, 1994, the required number of parts equal to 50% of the number of vehicles to be repaired (minimum of one set per included retailer). Pre-shipped parts will be charged to the retailer's open account.





If additional parts are required to complete this campaign, they are to be obtained from General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO). To ensure these parts will be obtained as soon as possible, they should be ordered from GMSPO on a "C.I.O." order with no special instruction code, but on an advise code (2).

SERVICE PROCEDURE (revised)
15. Install and pull twelve (12) rivets, P/N 2258214 using heavy duty rivet gun J-34940. Pneumatic rivet installation tool, such as Cherry Textron model G743 or USM Corporation "Pop" Riveter model PRG540 may also be used to pull the rivets.

Any of the rivet locations that cannot be accessed with a pneumatic rivet tool or with the manual heavy duty rivet tool (J-34940) may be serviced using bolt P/N 1156061 and self locking nut P/N 11503750. The bolt(s) and nut(s) should be installed with the bolt head in the trunk and the nut on the underside of the vehicle. Tighten to 10 N-m (7.4 ft.lb.).
