With Daytime Running Lights (Canada Only)

Voltage to the Light Switch is provided at all times through a Fusible Link. The Light Switch is protected by an internal Self-Resetting Circuit Breaker. If the Headlamp circuit draws too much current, the circuit breaker opens, stopping the current flow to the lamps.

With the Light Switch in HEAD, current flows through the Headlamp Dimmer Switch to the Headlamps. The Headlamp Dimmer Switch switches to current between the Low Beams and High Beams. With the High Beams on, current also flows to the High Beam Indicator in the instrument cluster.
