PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check WPR Fuse. If open, check CKT 243 for short to ground.
2. If Washer does not operate, check that:
- Washer Reservoir is filled.
- Hoses are correctly attached.
- Hoses are not cut, kinked or pinched.
- Nozzles are not clogged.
- Connector seal at Washer Motor is not damaged or missing.
3. If Washer does not operate and Wipers run in "HI" only (low speed inoperative), check CKT 113 for open.
4. Check for binding or broken Wiper Arm Linkage.
5. Check for missing or damaged connector seal at Wiper Motor Module.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
