Circuit Operation - Interior Lights
DOOR COURTESY, DOME INSIDE LIGHTED MIRROR ASSEMBLY, COURTESY LIGHTSVoltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the Door Courtesy Lights, Inside Lighted Mirror Assembly, Courtesy Lights and to Lighted Mirror Assembly. The Inside Lighted Mirror Assembly and the Courtesy Dome and Door Courtesy Lights will light whenever a door is opened or whenever the Light Switch is turned to "ON." The Inside Lighted Mirror Assembly has a separate switch in the circuit. When turned to "ON," this switch allows for individual operation of these Lights.
VANITY MIRRORS, UNDERHOOD LIGHT AND REAR DOME LIGHT (WAGON)
Voltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the Vanity Mirror Lights, the Underhood Light and Rear Dome Light (Wagon). The Vanity Mirror Lights will light whenever the Visor is pulled down and the cover is opened. The Underhood Light will light whenever the hood is opened. The Rear Dome Light will light whenever the Tailgate is opened.
CIGAR LIGHTER AND I/P COMPARTMENT LIGHT
Voltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the Cigar Lighter and I/P Compartment Light. The Cigar Lighter has a heating element that, when pushed in, completes the circuit and begins to heat. When the element is sufficiently heated, the Cigar Lighter opens the circuit. The I/P Compartment Light will light whenever the I/P Compartment is opened.
