Test B: Fuel Gage Always Indicates E

Disconnect Fuel Tank Unit Connector C409. Turn Ignition Switch to "RUN" and observe Fuel Gage.

^ If Fuel Gage now indicates F, check Fuel Tank Unit Connector C409 for proper terminal contact; check Fuel Tank Unit pigtail wiring; if both OK, replace Fuel Gage Sender.

^ If Fuel Gage still indicates E, check PPL (30) wiring for a short to ground (see schematic); if OK, replace Instrument Cluster
