Troubleshooting Hints - Charging System

TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:
1. Check battery hydrometer eye before troubleshooting Charging System.
- Green eye - battery is charged.
- Dark eye - battery is discharged.
Recharge battery.
- Clear or yellow eye - battery fluid is LO.
Replace battery.
2. Check that generator BAT terminal and connector terminals are clean and tight.
3. Check generator belt.
4. Check that battery connections are clean and tight.
5. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 1D when AMP Indicator does not light with ignition Switch in "RUN" and engine stopped.
