1. Heater Core.
2. Temperature valve actuator
3. Two lower screws (198) from temperature case (195).
4. One upper LH screw (198), one upper RH screw temperature case (195) and gasket (197) from blower and air inlet case (196). Removal of upper RH temperature case screw may require partial removal of sound insulator putty patch.
5. A/C accumulator hose (190) from A/C evaporator (194). Use a backup wrench while loosening fitting and discard seal.
6. A/C evaporator hose (193) from A/C evaporator (194). Use a backup wrench while loosening filling and discard seal,
7. Four screws (189) retaining auxiliary A/C evaporator and blower case (199) top blower and air inlet case (196).
8. Windshield defroster nozzle duct.
9. A/C evaporator inlet/outlet tubes from drain grommet and A/C evaporator (with case) from blower and air inlet case (196).
10. Tube and drain seal (183) from A/C evaporator (194).
11. One screw (180) retaining evaporator tube clamp (181).
12. Four A/C evaporator case clips (186).
^ Separate upper and lower auxiliary A/C evaporator and blower case halves (199).
13. Six stake retainers (185) and filter (184) from A/C evaporator (194).
14. Evaporator core mounting spacers (182).
15. Evaporator core seal (187).
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Evaporator core seal (187).
2. New evaporator core mounting spacers (182)
3. New filter (184) to A/C evaporator (194) with six stake retainers (185).
4. A/C evaporator (194) into upper and lower auxiliary A/C evaporator and blower case halves (199).
5. Upper and lower auxiliary A/C evaporator and blower case halves (199) with four A/C evaporator case clips (186).
6. Evaporator tube clamp (181) with screw (180).
Tighten
Screw (180) to 7 Nm (62 lb.in.).
7. Tube and drain seal (183) to A/C evaporator (194).
8. A/C evaporator inlet/outlet tubes to drain grommet and A/C evaporator (with case) (194/199) intc blower and air inlet case (196).
9. Windshield defroster nozzle duct.
10. Four screws (189) retaifling auxiliary A/C evaporator and blower case (199) to blower and aii inlet case (196).
Tighten
Screws (189) to 10 Nm (89 lb.in.).
^ Lightly lubricate O-rings with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
^ Clean refrigerant fittings with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil. Do not allow refrigerant oil to enter A/C system.
11. O-ring (192) to A/C evaporator hose (193).
12. A/C evaporator hose (193) to A/C evaporator (194).
Tighten
A/C evaporator hose-to-A/C evaporator fitting to 24 Nm (18 lb.ft.). Use a backup wrench while torquing fitting.
13. O-ring (191) to A/C accumulator hose (190).
14 A/C accumulator hose (190) to A/C evaporator (194).
Tighten
Evaporator fitting to 41 Nm (30 lb.ft.). Use a backup wrench while torquing fitting.
15. Temperature case (195) and gasket (197) to blower and air inlet case (196) with two screws (198).
Tighten
Upper temperature case-to-blower and air inlet case screws (198) to 7 Nm (62 lb.in.).
16. Two lower screws (198) to temperature case.
Tighten
Lower temperature case-to-blower and air inlet case screws (198) to 7 Nm (62 lb.in.).

18 Heater Core.
