Window Tilt Adjustment (Inboard/Outboard)
WINDOW TILT ADJUSTMENT (INBOARD/OUTBOARD)Door Window Adjustment:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Trim panel and water deflector. Refer to "Door Trim Panel" and "Water Deflector".
ADJUST
2. Adjust door if required.
IMPORTANT: Do not readjust door after glass adjustment. Mark all adjustments.
Door Window Adjustment:
2. Loosen the stabilizer bracket assembly fore/aft and glass tilt adjustments.
3. Loosen secondary glass tilt adjustment.
ADJUST
4. Adjust the primary glass tilt adjustment. in or out as required, which in turn moves the top of the glass out or in.
TIGHTEN
^ Tighten primary glass tilt adjustment nut.
INSPECT
5. Run glass up and down, ensuring all other adjustments are not restraining the module from movement.
6. Run glass to full down position, ensuring the front guide channel is free to move.
TIGHTEN
^ Tighten the secondary glass tilt adjuster.
Door Window Adjustment:
7. Sitting inside vehicle, close door and run glass slowly, watching the glass run up to and over the rear seal (B-pillar). This check ensures the seal will not be damaged.
IMPORTANT: If the glass starts to scissor, cut, or dive inside of the rear seal, DO NOT raise the glass further! if this condition exists, the glass has been tilted too far inboard.
ADJUST
8. Readjust, refer to steps 4-6; if the glass cannot be tilted inboard enough to correct the glass location at full up, the seal retainer must be moved outboard. if the glass cannot be tilted outboard enough, the seal retainer must be adjusted inboard.
TIGHTEN
^ Tighten stabilizer bracket assembly adjustments, ensuring that the glass guidance module is not moved during the tightening process.
^ Retighten all adjustments.
