Door Lock System:
Power Lock Actuator:
The automatic door lock system has an actuator in each door which actuates the lock through a linkage. The system is actuated by the chime module in the convenience center or by the door lock switch. All doors lock or unlock at the same time except when the actuator is manually activated by a lock rod. Each actuator has an internal circuit breaker which may require one to three minutes to reset.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Door trim panel.
2. Water deflector.
3. Rivet by punching out mandrel, then using a 3/16 inch drill bit.
4. Clip and electrical connector.
5. Actuator by disengaging from rod.
Install or Connect
1. Actuator to rod.
2. Electrical connector and clip.
3. Rivets using 3/16 inch x 1.4 inch peel type rivets.
Inspect
- For proper operation by cycling system.
4. Water deflector.
5. Door trim panel.
