Turn Signal Lamps
With the Ignition Switch in "RUN," "BULB TEST" or "START." voltage is applied from the fuse 30 and the Turn Flasher to the normally closed pole of the Hazard Switch in the
Turn Signal Switch Assembly. With the Turn Switch in the "TURN LEFT" position, voltage is applied from the Turn Switch to CKT 14 at terminal "A2" of the Turn/Hazard Switch Connector C202 and to CKT 18 at terminal "A4" of C202. LH Front Turn, Rear Turn and Indicator Lamps flash "ON" and "OFF" as current flow heats the timing element in the Turn Flasher, and it continuously opens and closes the circuit (for RH Turn Lamps CKT 15 terminal "A3" of C202 and CKT 19 terminal "A5" of C202). With Park Lamps "ON" and Turn Lamps "ON," voltage is applied to both terminals of the Front Side Marker Lamp causing is to be "OFF." When the Front Turn Lamp is "OFF," voltage is applied to only one terminal of the
Marker Lamp, causing it to flash "ON." The Turn Lamp and the Marker Lamp continue to flash "ON" and "OFF" our of sequence until the Turn Switch is turned "OFF."
