Normal Aiming
Headlamp Aiming System:
Vertical Adjustment Setting:
1. Prepare vehicle.
^ Tires should be properly inflated.
^ All four tires should be on a perfectly level surface.
^ There should not be any snow, ice or mud attached to vehicle.
^ There should not be any cargo or loading of vehicle other than the vehicle should have a full tank of gas and should contain one person or 75 kg (165 pounds) on driver's seat.
NOTICE: Horizontal aim of headlamp must be done first. Adjusting vertical aim first will result in incorrect headlamp aim.
2. Assure horizontal adjuster is set to "0" (Zero) mark:
A. If vehicle has been damaged, refer to "Aiming Headlamps After a Collision".
B. If horizontal pointer is not set at "0" (Zero), turn horizontal aiming adjustment screw until pointer is lined up with "0" (Zero).
3. Adjust vertical aim by turning vertical aiming screw until bubble in level is centered at "0" (Zero).
